Imane Rachidi is a freelance multimedia journalist and researcher, working as The Hague based correspondent for various media outlets, mainly the Spanish news agency EFE, El Mundo newspaper, El Confidencial and Cadena Ser radio.
Since 2011, Imane has worked as a reporter focusing on Europe as well as the Middle East and North Africa. She covered the Arab Spring in the region as correspondent of EFE in Cairo (Egypt), before moving to The Netherlands to focus mainly on international courts, human right issues and immigration in a sociocultural context. She speaks Moroccan, Egyptian and Classical Arabic, together with Spanish, English and French, while still learning Dutch.
